About Me:
Si Man LAM is a first-year PhD student in the Academic Unit of Social Contexts and Policies of Education. Her interests include socio-economic inequalities in educational outcomes, international comparative studies and the use of international large-scale assessment data. She has recently been focusing on the change and development of academic achievement gap between social and economic divisions.

Si Man holds a Bachelor’s degree in German Language and Literature from Peking University, and a Master's degree in Educational Administration from University of Macau. Her master’s thesis entitled “SES-Achievement Gaps in East Asia: Evidence from PISA 2003-2018” has been published in The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher (TAPER).
