About Me:
Hechunzi Wang (Chunzi) is a doctoral student in Education at The University of Hong Kong. Her main research area lies in gender equity and girls’ education. She obtained her Master’s degree from Stanford University and her B.A. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Prior to joining HKU, she worked as the project manager in a K-12 online education startup in Cupertino, US for 4 years. Chunzi is the co-founder and the VP Operation of Stanford Education Practitioners and Innovators of China (EPIC), a cross-border platform that aims to connect the innovation and resources between China and Silicon Valley. EPIC has held the Stanford China Education Forum and Ed-Project EXPO annually since 2017. Chunzi is also a Uteam softball pitcher and a contemporary dancer.
