Programme of Study: PhD
Field of Study: Teacher Professional Development and Dialogic Teaching
Current Research:
I am a PhD student in the Faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong. My research interests address topics in 1) technology-enhanced teacher professional development about classroom discourse and 2) psychological studies about learning motivation and emotion.
My past research experiences lay primarily on quantitative-driven mixed methods. I use various quantitative methods (e.g., structure equation modeling, latent profile analysis, and sequential analysis) to understand learners’ engagement, motivation, and emotion. I am also interested in conducting classroom observations and interviews to qualitatively analyze the classroom to gain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding.
If you are interested in these topics, please don’t hesitate to contact me for chat, brainstorming, or collaboration. I always believe that if you want to walk fast, you should walk alone; but if you want to walk far, you should walk together with your peer.
